We are little gardeners!

Our Jack and the Beanstalk beans got too big for the Room 1 windowsill and so we went on a journey with Mr Weston to plant them in the vegetable

garden behind Room 19 and 20.

Because our beans had done such a great job growing we had to protect them as we walked and we did such a great job!

First we had to did a hole and pop our beanstalk into it...

Then we covered our beans and pressed down on the soil to make sure they were in nice and tight so they didn't get blown away in the wind...

Then we watered them...

Don't they look great?!

Finally we had to ask Mr Scarecrow very nicely to watch over our beanstalks and keep them safe!

Room 13 had also planted beans so when we got back to class we wrote an instruction booklet giving them all the steps they would need to plant their beans in the vegetable garden.  When our booklet was finished we went and shared it with Room 13 :)

And then we got silly :D
